about

after having visited down under for the first time in my life during april this year, i fell in love with it. so deep is this love that by hook or by crook, i had to go back before the end of 2009. this is a solo trip, i’ll be dancing and skipping to my own whimsical rhythm.

unlike my other travels where i am zipping about cramming my days and nights with as much must-sees and must-dos, this will be a slooooooow journey. i will be whilling my time away along the great ocean road, staying over in sleepy towns, cafe hopping. i imagine all i’ll be doing is rereading the three (carefully chosen) books i brought and staring at the great ocean. maybe with a bottle of good white, or three.  who knows what i’ll be up to.

i’ll be updating intermittently, or not at all (see, told you i was whimsical), depending on free wifi access, the availability of time (staring at the sea is a very time consuming activity, am not sure whether i might be able to tear myself away to blog), and mood (yup, whimsical).

a note on the design of this blog – it is stark. it’s empty. my words are all the aesthetic that i am offering to you right now. the pictures, the flair, the design will come later – to fill in the blanks that my words left.

if you will, come follow me on my journey :)
